XBRL Europe announced that according to the acceptance process in its bylaws, UBPartner has been accepted for 2013 as its 21st member and as a direct member.

UBPartner was already an active member of the European community through its membership of XBRL France and through its work with XBRL International and the Standards Board. However, given UBPartner's large European presence and customers dispersed across the region, it sought direct membership in XBRL Europe as well.

We can say that with all the European issues at stake at the moment, UBPartner's pan European development, visibility, network as well as history will be very important for XBRL Europe as it carries out its work to network and to lobby with the users, preparers and European Institutions.
