The London conference on banking regulation, "Preparing for CRD IV Reporting", was organised by XBRL UK and XBRL Europe with the support of XBRL International the 17th of June.

This conference was the regulatory event of 2013 – speakers include Sharon Bowles, Chair of the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, Aurel Schubert Director General Statistics the European Central Bank, José María Roldán Director General of Banking Regulation and Financial Stability of the Bank of Spain, Robert Priester Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director of the Wholesale and Regulatory Policy Department of the European Banking Federation, as well as senior figures from the EBA, and National Supervisory Authorities.
The attendance was comprised of more than 260 persons coming in majority from the banking industry. We can say that we reached our aim which was to be able to get new attendees in our XBRL type of events.

The conference, which is held at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Monday 17 June, is aimed at banking compliance officials and reporting staff, but will also be of interest to members of your jurisdiction. It is followed on Tuesday 18 June by the 11th XBRL Europe day and General Assembly and on Wednesday 19 June by the XVII Eurofiling XBRL Workshop, both held at the premises of the Financial Conduct Authority at Canary Wharf for which a separate registration scheme is organised.
As announced also a limited number of discounted tickets will be made available to members of XBRL Europe on a first come, first served, basis, at a price of EUR 180 per seat. We must, however, limit each member organisation to two tickets at the most.
