Giancarlo started his carrier at Ernst & Young as external auditor. Then he joined the Belgian banking and insurance supervisory authority, where he was responsible for compliance, reporting and XBRL. He participated very actively in the development of XBRL standards, among which the first IFRS taxonomy. He was member of various committees within EBA, Basel Committee, EIOPA, IAIS, IOSCO and IASCF. After holding a couple of positions at Dexia Group and BNY Mellon he joined the ECB, as Head of the Banking Supervision Data Division. |

Diana Gaibor is a Policy Expert of the Reporting and Transparency Unit at EBA. Diana has been working at the EBA since 2018 as reporting expert on different reporting and transparency topics and has been coordinating the work on Integrated reporting. Prior to join the EBA Diana worked as a consultant providing financial regulation services to banks with a focus on supervisory reporting. Diana holds a Double degree on Business administration and law and a Master on banking and financial regulation from the University of Navarra. |
Speaker: Panagiotis Nikolaou

Panagiotis is an ICT Project Management and Business Analysis Expert at Single Resolution Board (SRB) since October 2022. He is the assigned IT Project Manager for the two main Data Collections at the SRB (Resolution Reporting and Single Resolution Fund). Before SRB, Panagiotis was working with the European Banking Authority (EBA) since June 2019, in a similar role related to the Regulatory Master and Reporting data for the different data collections. Prior to the EBA, Panagiotis was working in data-centric projects with different EU and UN Agencies, including the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and the Wold Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). He holds a BSc in Informatics and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University in Athens, Greece and a MSc in Business Systems Analysis and Design from the City University of London in the UK. |
Speaker: Mattia Duma |
Mattia Duma is an expert in Supervisory Processes Department at Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) since 2020. As a data analyst and reference expert on data modelling, he supports the EIOPA in the development of the necessary taxonomy updates. He has worked as a project manager for implementing the validation list for the 2.8.0 release. Mattia has also worked at the European Central Bank, contributing to economic analysis and statistical modelling both in the Statistics and in the Economics Departments for four years. He holds a master’s degree in applied mathematics and Statistics and a master’s degree in quantitative finance and insurance. |

Thomas Klement is managing director at software vendor ABZ Reporting GmbH. He is providing software and services for e-reporting with XBRL in the areas of business registers, tax declaration and regulatory reporting since 2004. |

Mark Goodhand is Head of Research at CoreFiling and Chairman of XBRL International’s Specification Working Group. He is responsible for advancing XBRL standards and identifying new market applications for XBRL. |

Currently the VP Business Development at UBPartner. Martin has been working in the XBRL world since 2006 and is a member of the XBRL Europe executive team. Previously had extensive experience in IT at organisations like Oracle and in areas such as Business Intelligence and Data Analysis. |

John Turner is the CEO of XBRL International, the standards development organisation behind XBRL, the business reporting specifications. XBRL works to enhance transparency and accountability in business performance by developing and promoting its global data exchange specifications in the public interest. John has previously served as the CEO of CoreFiling, a leading XBRL vendor, led the XBRL activities of KPMG International LLP and ran the first regulatory project to utilise XBRL for data collection, leading the data collection and analysis reengineering efforts at APRA, the Australian financial regulator. He is a passionate advocate for the pragmatic use of standards to enhance reporting and with the staff of XBRL International works with the consortium’s members and leading regulators around the world to this end. |

Vincent le Moal Joubel is Chair of XBRL France. He is co-chairing the XBRL Europe Bank & Insurance working group. Vincent is Head of XBRL Skill Center in Banque de France, within the Taxonomy and Quality Department, responsible for the creation of national taxonomies. He holds a degree in computer engineering from ENSIEE and a master’s degree in bioinformatics from IBISC/University of Evry. He is a certified Datascientist from ENSAE/ENSAI. |

Thomas Verdin is Vice Chair of XBRL Europe and active member of XBRL UK and XBRL France. He is co-chairing the XBRL Europe Bank & Insurance working group. Thomas is Managing Director at BM&A UK and expertise provider at TESH Advice, working as a consultant for banks, insurance firms and listed corporate regarding their regulatory reporting requirements (COREP, FINREP, QRT, ESEF, ESG). Thomas holds an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs (Paris – Stuttgart – Montreal). He is a Civil Engineer with a double degree from École Polytechnique de Bruxelles and École Centrale Paris. |
